🖌️ Paint Mixer

Paint mixes differently from light! With paint, colors subtract light — red + yellow makes orange, and all the primaries together make muddy brown (not white). Mix the three primary paints and see. This is subtractive color — the opposite of the screen's light mixer.

Try the classic mixes

Primary paints (red, yellow, blue) can't be made by mixing. Mixing two gives a secondary (orange, green, purple). Mixing all three heads toward brown/black because each absorbs more light.
