The workforce extension
Once the core platform is proven, The Whiteboard extends into national workforce development. The same patient, learning-attached relationship that taught the curriculum walks the learner into their first job and stays with them through the transition.
How it works
- Two-month placements at partner employers — a day-in-the-life rotation with the learner's tutor along for the journey.
- An employer interface posts openings against the skills demonstrated on the platform.
- First/second/third runner-up logic handles oversubscription gracefully — nobody walks away with nothing.
- Partner dormitory-style housing makes geographic mobility affordable in major cities.
- A new kind of American worker — mobile, learning-attached, supported in transition.
What it solves
Regional labor shortages in chefs, nurses, mechanics, electricians, engineers, agricultural workers. A pipeline from curriculum to credential to placement, without the hundred-thousand-dollar mistake.
Where this fits
This is a separate operational layer with its own team and leadership. The data model in this prototype already shapes itself to support it — sessions, mastery, and learner profiles flow into placement-readiness signals when Phase 2 ships.
