Galileo noticed a swinging lamp always took the same time per swing — no matter how far it swung. What does change the timing? The length of the string (and gravity). Test it! Longer string = slower swing. Weight doesn't matter at all.
Period T = 2π√(L ÷ g). Notice the weight slider changes the look but not the period!
